Suella Braverman, Who Quit Last Week, Returns In Rishi Sunak Cabinet

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak came under criticism shortly after he started assembling his new team, over the inclusion of Suella Braverman as the Secretary of State for the Home Department. The hardline interior minister quit last week over a technical breach of government rules.

Ms Braverman — an outspoken critic of Mr Sunak’s predecessor Liz Truss’s economic policy — had came out in support of Rishi Sunak.

“We need unity, stability and efficiency. Rishi Sunak is the only candidate that fits the bill and I am proud to support him,” she wrote in The Daily Telegraph newspaper.
